As one of the more famous and widely known neighborhoods in San Francisco, we knew we couldn't let this print be anywhere near "average". The Castro is home to United State's largest gay neighborhood and stands as a beacon for LGBT activism and events. This neighborhood has incredible personality, confidence, color and flare and we thought a peacock embodied all of these traits. We also wanted to feature the Castro Theater in the print so our peacock can be founding strutting his stuff in front of the famous movie house.
